Comprehensive Training Program in Immuno-Oncology "Campus Horizon".
Course on Immunotherapy in Oncogynecological Tumors
The Campus Horizon comprehensive training platform offers in its second edition (2021-2022) two possibilities to access online training in immuno-oncology, a Master's Degree in Regulated Training with a degree awarded by the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos or the choice of participating in one of the 10 immuno-oncology courses in specific therapeutic areas, accredited by the Continuing Education Commission. GEICO , as a leading cooperative group in Gynecological Cancer research, has had the pleasure of leading, through its coordinator, Dr. Helena García, Course on Immunotherapy in Oncogynecologic Tumors. In order to access the content, the student must have been previously chosen after a selection process led by the scientific groups that support the project. The minimum requirements are as follows:
  • Oncologists with an approved degree and residency performed in Spain
  • Be a member of any of the following scientific groups: SEOM, GECP, GÉTICA, SOGUG, GEICAM, SOLTI, TTCC, TTD, GEICO, GEM, GOTEL, GETNE, GEINO, GG, GEIS, GEMCAD
  • Attach a letter of motivation and a CV

2nd EDITION TRAINING COURSE IN GYNAECOLOGICAL ONCOLOGY: Online course from February 15, 2021 to October 15, 2021
SPANISH GROUP FOR OVARIAN CANCER RESEARCH (GEICO) The Gynecologic Oncology Training Course is organized by GEICO with the intention of training graduates in medicine, or in any other Health Sciences discipline, with an interest in the diagnosis, treatment and research of gynecologic tumors. GEICO has decided to carry out this second edition given the success of enrollment and the high degree of satisfaction with the contents, on the part of the students, of the first edition of the course. The contents of the syllabus of the first edition have been updated to adapt them to the current context. Please find attached the course program. The OBJECTIVE of this course is to provide theoretical and practical training, complete and multidisciplinary, for the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological tumors to the different professionals who collaborate in this process. For this reason it is AIMED at graduates in medicine or any other Health Sciences discipline with an interest in the diagnosis, treatment and research of gynecological tumors, and also at Gynecologic Oncologists, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists, with a relevant role in the treatment of these neoplasms. The course is also open to the participation of R4 and R5 physicians. To achieve these objectives, the course is STRUCTURED into 6 main modules: two cross-cutting and 4 tumor-specific. Each of these modules has a syllabus in the form of presentations given by various specialists in each of the subjects. The duration of the course is 8 months, starting on February 15 (from February 2021 to October 2021) and will include a self-evaluation exam for each module.
