Registration for the Expert Diploma Course in Gynecologic Oncology of the Spanish Gynecologic Cancer Research Group (GEICO) is now closed.

We are pleased to inform you that the third edition of the Expert Diploma Course in Gynecologic Oncology began on September 15, 2023. The main objective of this course is to achieve a complete and multidisciplinary training for the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological tumors. The main novelty of this edition is that it will be a postgraduate course of the University of Girona. Therefore, those students who have passed the course will be able to obtain an Expert Diploma in Gynecologic Oncology.

Admission requirements

Have a degree in medicine or any other discipline in the area of Health Sciences and show interest in the diagnosis, treatment and research of gynecological tumors.

Evaluation system

The evaluation will be carried out by means of a battery of theoretical questions proposed by the professors and collected in a test at the end of each module. To pass the course you must pass the test of each of the modules, and the course grade will be obtained by averaging the grades of each module. To pass each module it will be necessary to pass 70% of the questions.

Teaching methodology

The course content will be delivered online. A course web page will be published and each topic will be developed in PowerPoint (PPT) format, with summary videos of each module. At the end of the module, the most relevant bibliography will be recommended. Each module will have a coordinator or tutor with the following functions:

Revision of the contents of the module classes to homogenize their structure.
Creation of a summary algorithm and a follow-up section.
Availability to solve possible doubts of the students.
Facilitation of direct communication with the module professors.

The cost of the course is 1.000€.
